John focuses on growth equity investments across a wide range of sectors at Norwest including technology, business services, media and consumer.
Prior to joining Norwest, John was an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York. In this role, he advised companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets execution, and distressed restructurings through the lens of liability management. His transaction experience includes the restructuring of J. Crew and the spin-off of HP Enterprise from Hewlett-Packard.
John graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in computer science and business. John is an avid lover of the outdoors and is a proud Eagle Scout.
